Cologne, Germany - 04.01.2020 Counterprotests are accompanied a far right-wing rally against broadcasting fees and the West German Broadcasting Corporation (WDR). The protest, which was mobilized by neo-Nazis, AfD supporters and conspiracy theorists, was initiated after a satirical video by the broadcasting station in which a children's choir sang a recapitulated text of the a famous German children's song. About 1500 people protested against the 50 participants of the right-wing rally. Gegenprotest begleiten eine rechte Kundgebung gegen GEZ Gebühren und den WDR. Auslöser des von Neonazis, AfD-Anhängern und Verschwörungstheoretikern beworbenen Proteste war ein Satire Video der Sendeanstalt in der ein Kinderchor einen umgedichteten Text des Liedes "Meine Oma fährt im Hühnerstall Motorrad" gesungen hat.
