Rommerskirchen, Germany - 23.06.2019 Police stop the railway blockade of climate protection campaign "Ende Gelände" in North Rhine-Westphalia's lignite mining area. Since 21 June, several hundred activists have blocked the tracks of the RWE plant railway line to the Neurath coal-fired power station. Originally, the demonstrators wanted to end their protest this morning of their own free will. But the prosecuting attorney classifies the blockade as coercion. So the demonstrators were surrounded by police forces and released individually after a few hours. About 30 demonstrators did not follow the police instructions and let themselves be carried off the tracks. Seit dem 21.06. blockierten mehrere hundert Aktivisten die Gleise der RWE Werksbahnstrecke zum Kohle-Kraftwerk Neurath. Ursprünglich wollten die Demonstranten ihren Protest am heutigen Vormittag freiwillig beenden. Da die Staatsanwaltschaft die Blockade jedoch als Nötigung einordnet, wurden die Demonstranten von Polizeikräften eingekesselt und nach einigen Stunden einzeln Freigelassen. Berlin, Germany - 01.05.2019 Around 1:30 a.m. police forces finished the Walpurgis Night Party in the Viktoriapark in Berlin-Kreuzberg by clearing the park. Especially teenagers and young adults had gathered here before. During the evacuation, there were "all of Berlin hates the police" chants and occasional bottle throws at police officers. The police arrested at least three people during the clearing of the park. Gegen 1:30 Uhr beendete die Berliner Polizei die Walpurgisnachtfeier im Viktoriapark in Berlin-Kreuzberg, indem sie den Park raeumte. Vor allem Jugendliche und junge Erwachsene hatten sich hier zuvor versammelt. Bei der Raeumung kam es zu ”Ganz Berlin haßt die Polizei"-Sprechchoeren und zu vereinzelten Flaschenwuerfen auf Polizeibeamte.
