Christopher Street Day 2016 in Berlin. Hundreds of thousands of people protesting and celebrating the Berlin Pride under slogan "Thanks for nothing”. At the beginning there were disturbances by Pro Palestine demonstrators, during the speech of a representative of the Israeli Embassy. The police placed the people offs for the CSD. A Palestinian flag was still carried in the parade: As one of the flags of countries where homosexuality is illegal. Berlin governing mayor Michael Müller, who holds also a short speech at the beginning carries afterwards a banner in memory of the victims of the terrorist attack of Orlando.

Beim Start kam es zu Störungen durch Pro Palästina Demonstranten, während der Rede eines Vertreters der israelischen Botschaft. Die Polizei erteilte den Personen Platzverweise für den CSD. Eine Palästina-Flagge wurde dennoch im Aufzug mitgeführt, nämlich als eine der Flaggen der Länder in denen Homosexualität illegal ist. Berlins regierender Bürgermeister Michael Müller, der ebenfalls eine kurze Begrüßungsrede hielt, trug anschließend ein Banner in Gedenken an die Opfer des Terroranschlags von Orlando.
