Preparations for the Pope's visit at the Moria refugee camp on Lesvos. Workers whitewash refugee solidarity slogans on the outside wall of the detention camp. Thousands of refugees, including children, who have arrived after the 20th March 2016 on the Greek island Lesvos, currently detained at the Moria refugee camp. According to an EU-Turkey deal, refugees should get deported quickly to Turkey. Many concerned therefore ask for asylum in Greece. Vorbereitungen zum Papst-Besuch am Moria Fluechtlingscamp auf Lesbos. Arbeiter übertuenchen politische Fluechtlings Solidaritäts-Parolen an der Außenmauer des Gefangenenlagers. Tausende Fluechtlinge, darunter auch Kinder, die nach dem 20.03.2016 auf Lesbos ankamen, sind derzeit im Moria Fluechtlingslager auf Lesbos eingesperrt. Gemaeß eines EU-Tuerkei Deals sollen Fluechtlinge die auf den griechischen Insel neuankommen moeglichst schnell in die Tuerekei abgeschoben werden. Viele Betroffene haben deshalb nun Asyl in Griechenland beantragt.Das aus EU-Mittel mitfinanzierte Lager wurde urspruenglich als Abschiebegefaengnis gebaut.
