Police operation in the Hambach forest. After an RWE employee reported that he had been thrown with faeces, the police moved in with a large contingent. One of the environmental activists surrendered in order to prevent the eviction of the tree houses. Police took the young man into custody. Environmental activists are occupying the Hambach forest to prevent the clearing of the forest for the benefit of RWE's open-cast coal mine.
Polizeieinsatz im Hambacher Forst. Nachdem ein RWE Mitarbeiter den Bewurf mit Faekalien zur Anzeige gebracht hat rueckte die Polizei mit einem Großaufgebot an. Um die nun drohende Raeumung der Baumhaeuser zu verhindern stellte sich einer der Umweltaktivisten. Polizisten nahmen den jungen Mann in Gewahrsam. Umweltaktivisten halten den Hambacher Forst besetzt um die Rodung des Waldes zugunsten des RWE-Braukohletagebaus zu verhindern.
