6 a.m. in front of the Asylum Department in Athens. Refugees wait for hours every morning especially to apply for asylum, some even spend the night in front of the authority. But even after hours of waiting, only a few refugees are heard. Many report that they come to the asylum office daily for weeks and months, where they are only told that no further processing takes place on that day and that they should therefore return on another day.
6 Uhr morgens vor der Asyl-Behörde in Athen. Über Stunden warten jeden Morgen Flüchtlinge vorallem um Anträge auf Asyl zu stellen, manche Übernachten sogar vor der Behörde. Doch auch nach Stunden des Wartens werden die wenigsten Flüchtlinge angehört, Viele berichten davon, dass sie über Wochen und Monate täglich zum der Asyl-Stelle kommen, sie dort doch jedes Mal nur gesagt bekommen, dass an diesem Tag keine weiteren Bearbeitungen stattfinden und die Betroffenen deshalb an einem anderen Tag zurückkommen sollen.
