For about a year now, climate and environmentalists have occupied the Dannenröder Forst, which they call Danni. The forest should be used to continue the construction of the A49 freeway, which residents' initiatives have been protesting against since decades.
Seit etwa einem Jahr besetzen Klima- und Umweltschützer den Dannenröder Forst, den sie Danni nennen. Durch den Wald soll die Autobahn A49 weitergebaut werden, wogegen Anwohnerinitiativen seit jahrzehnten protestieren.
