About 300 participants gathered for the first BärGiDa demonstration at the Red City Hall. More than 5000 people blocked a march of the pegida branch "Bärgida" in Berlin and stopped in this way the anti Islamic demonstration. Because of the blockades the march could not leave the starting point. Police forces arrested some counter-demonstrators, before the police had repeatedly requested that the route should be unblocked.
Etwa 300 Teilnehmer versammelten sich zur ersten BärGiDa-Demonstration am Roten Rathaus. Mehr als 5000 Menschen stellten sich in Berlin einem Aufmarsch des pegida-Ablegers "Bärgida" in den Weg und blockierten so die Aufzugstrecke des islamfeindlichen Demonstration. Wegen den Blockaden konnte der Aufzug den Startpunkt nicht verlassen. Polizeikräfte nahmen einige Gegendemonstranten fest, zuvor erfolgte die mehrfache polizeiliche Aufforderung dass die Wegstrecke freizugeben sei.
