With a large-scale operation, the police begin clearing protest tree houses in the Herrenwald in the state of Hesse. The Herrenwald is located on the planned A49 freeway route, as well as the Dannenröder Forst. Since October 2019, climate protection activists have been occupying the area to protest against the clearing of the forest and for a traffic turnaround.
Mit einem Großeinsatz beginnt die Polizei mit der Räumung von Protestbaumhäusern im Herrenwald in Hessen. Der Herrenwald liegt ebenso wie der Dannenröder Forst auf der geplanten A49-Trasse. Klimaschützer besetzen seit Oktober 2019 den Bereich um gegen die Rodung der Waldstücke und für eine Verkehrswende zu protestieren
