Police forces of the Cologne Height Intervention Team (HIT) clear activists from a tree. With a large-scale operation, the police continue the clearing of protest tree houses in the Herrenwald in the state of Hesse. Like the Dannenröder Forst, the Herrenwald lies on the planned A49 route. Since October 2019, climate protection activists have been occupying the area to protest against the clearing of the forests and for a traffic turnaround.
Polizeikräfte des Kölner Höheninterventionsteam (HIT) räumen Aktivisten von einem Baum. Mit einem Großeinsatz setzt die Polizei die Räumung von Protestbaumhäusern im Herrenwald in Hessen fort. Der Herrenwald liegt ebenso wie der Dannenröder Forst auf der geplanten A49-Trasse. Klimaschützer besetzen seit Oktober 2019 den Bereich um gegen die Rodung der Waldstücke und für eine Verkehrswende zu protestieren
