Protest organizer Martin Kohlmann, from the party Pro Chemnitz. Pro Chemnitz rally at the Chemnitz FC stadium, where Saxony's Prime Minister Kretschmer has invited to a civil dialogue. Since the death of a 35-year-old who was stabbed to death a few days earlier in downtown Chemnitz, the mood in Chemnitz has been tense. At a demonstration also organized by Pro Chemnitz three days earlier, around 6000 people marched through the city. Hitler salutes, aggressiveness, as well as neo-Nazi slogans and banners dominated this protest.
Protestorganisator Martin Kohlmann, von der Partei Pro Chemnitz. Pro Chemnitz-Kundgebung am Chemnitzer FC Stadion, wo Sachsens Ministerpräsident Kretschmer zum Bürgerdialog eingeladen hat. Seit dem Tod eines 35-jährigen der wenige Tage zuvor in der Chemnitzer Innenstadt erstochen wurde ist die Stimmung in Chemnitz angespannt. Bei einer ebenfalls von Pro Chemnitz organisierte Demonstration drei Tage zuvor zogen rund 6000 Menschen durch die Stadt. Hitlergrüße, Aggressivität, sowie neonazistische Parolen und Banner dominierten diesen Protest.
