The pictures were taken during a tour of the project advisory council for the renovation of the Beethovenhalle. The fundamental renovation and modernization of the listed concert and event hall was decided in April 2016, it should cost around EUR 60 million and be completed in March 2019. Meanwhile, completion is not expected before 2024 at the earliest; the current cost forecast is EUR 146 million.

Die Grundsanierung und Modernisierung des denkmalgeschützte Konzert- und Veranstaltungshauses wurde im April 2016 beschlossen, sie sollte rund 60 Millionen Euro kosten und im März 2019 abgeschlossen sein. Inzwischen wird mit einer Fertigstellung frühstens 2024 gerechnet, die akuelle Kostenprognose liegt bei 146 Millionen Euro.
