Under the slogan "Datteln 4 comes to you" activists of the climate protection movement Extinction Rebellion (XR) protested in front of the NRW State Chancellery. The controversial new hard coal power plant Dattel 4 went online a few weeks ago. With this action, the protestors blocked the road with a trailer designed as a coal-fired power station - some people chained themselves to it. The unannounced protest event is part of the currently running decentralized XR action week.
Unter dem Motte "Datteln 4 kommt zu dir" protestierten Aktivisten der Klimaschutzbewegung Extinction Rebellion (XR) vor der NRW-Staatskanzlei. Das umstrittene neue Steinkohlkraft Dattel 4 ging vor wenigen Wochen ans Netz. Mit der Aktion blockierten die Demonstranten mit einem als Kohlkraftwerk gestalteten Anhänger die Straße - einige Personen ketteten sich an diesen fest. Die unangemeldete Protestaktion ist teil der derzeit laufenden dezentralen XR Aktionswoche.
